Widget Installation

Add the Hal chat widget to your website with a single line of code.

Quick Install

Add this script tag before the closing </body> tag:

<script src="https://api.chatwithhal.com/widget.js" data-project-id="YOUR_PROJECT_ID" defer></script>

Replace YOUR_PROJECT_ID with your actual project ID from the dashboard.

Finding Your Project ID

  1. Go to Settings > Embed Code in the dashboard
  2. Copy the complete script tag
  3. Paste it into your website's HTML

Verify Installation

After adding the script:

  1. Visit your website
  2. Look for the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner
  3. Send a test message
  4. Check your Hal dashboard - the conversation should appear
