<![CDATA[# Generating Marketing Content with AI
Hal's GTM Content Engine uses your GTM Profile to create on-brand marketing content in seconds.
Two Generation Modes
1. Generate Mode (Create New Content)
Create fresh marketing content from scratch:
- Navigate to Create
- Select a content type:
- Cold Email
- LinkedIn Post
- Blog Outline
- Landing Page Copy
- Tweet Thread
- Objection Response
- Provide a brief (optional) — e.g., "Announce new feature X targeting fintech companies"
- Click Generate
The AI uses your GTM Profile to create content that matches your:
- Tone & voice
- Value propositions
- Target audience
- Positioning
2. Rewrite Mode (Improve Existing Content)
Paste existing content and have AI rewrite it using your brand voice:
- In Create, switch to Rewrite mode
- Paste your existing copy
- Specify what you want to improve (optional) — e.g., "Make this more concise" or "Add urgency"
- Click Rewrite
Use cases:
- Refining draft emails
- Adapting competitor copy to your voice
- Shortening long-form content for social media
Content Types Explained
Cold Email
Outbound sales emails to prospects. AI includes:
- Personalized opening (uses ICP)
- Value prop relevant to recipient
- Clear CTA
- Your tone & voice
LinkedIn Post
Professional updates, product announcements, thought leadership. Options:
- Carousel-style (numbered points)
- Story format (anecdote → lesson)
- Announcement (feature launch)
Blog Outline
Structured outline with H2/H3 headings, key points, and suggested CTAs.
Landing Page Copy
Hero section, feature highlights, social proof, and CTA blocks.
Tweet Thread
Multi-tweet narrative (6-10 tweets) optimized for engagement.
Objection Response
Answers to common sales objections pulled from your GTM Profile.
Best Practices
✅ Do:
- Keep your GTM Profile updated — AI quality depends on it
- Edit generated content — treat it as a first draft
- Use specific briefs — "Email to fintech CFOs about compliance feature" beats "Email about product"
❌ Don't:
- Copy-paste generated content blindly — always personalize
- Expect perfection on first try — iterate and refine
- Skip GTM Profile setup — AI needs context to perform well
Pipeline Tracking
Generated content automatically appears in your Pipeline:
- Track which pieces are in Draft, Review, or Published
- See what content types you're creating most
- Identify gaps (e.g., no blog content in 30 days)
Next Steps
- Generate your first piece of content
- Save high-performing outputs as templates
- Use Playbooks to get content suggestions based on your GTM gaps
